The Son of God became man in order to be our Savior and Redeemer. God the Father sent His Son to free man from the power of Satan and to make peace between God and man. To do this Jesus became man, to preach His truth about the Kingdom of His Father.

Jesus continued preaching even though the religious leaders of the Jewish people were trying to harm Him. They finally arranged to have Him put to death by the Romans because He claimed to be God. By His freely offered sacrificial Death on the Cross, Jesus became our Savior.
